Log Wall Performance Estimator

Provide in-house staff with guidelines for estimating and design. This report can show outside engineers and building officials why certain size timbers are used in plans.

Span Tables

Using ASHRAE Fundamentals and Standards, alternative building assemblies can be documented to establish thermal properties to demonstrate compliance with energy codes. The reports showing the calculation should be attached to plans or REScheck calculations when the u-factors or R-values have been entered.

Thermal Analysis Tools

All TimberLogic documents are formatted to an 8-1/2”x11” page, printed to Adobe Acrobat Portable Document File (pdf), and transmitted electronically by e-mail attachment. While proprietary information is held confidentially, TimberLogic retains all rights to the formats, organization, and methods used in generating the documentation.

TimberLogic Reports

TimberLogic was originally formed when three wood techies teamed up to respond to the technical needs of the log home industry.  Focusing on testing, research and development, design, and engineering, the team and focus continues to evolve.

The first products of TimberLogic were the Span Table Report and the Log Wall Performance Estimator.  Companies who have completed the process of developing these reports have expressed satisfaction in many areas—better material use, improved estimating accuracy, and coordination of specifications from design through production, to name a few.
