Robert Orth's career in construction began in 1981 in Pennsylvania working for a construction company as an apprentice and advancing to foreman before obtaining an A.S. degree from Penn State University in Mechanical Engineering.
After completing his degree, Robert moved to Vermont as an AutoCAD operator and designer for a pre-cut log home company and then on to a timber frame manufacturer.
