Companies who have completed the process of developing TimberLogic reports have expressed satisfaction in many areas—better material use, improved estimating accuracy, and coordination of specifications from design through production, to name a few.

Most Complete Reports I've Ever Seen

posted Dec 9, 2012, 3:30 PM by TimberLogic LLC   [ updated Dec 15, 2012, 9:25 AM ]

I want to thank you for the TimberLogic Reports you did for Honest Abe. They are among the most complete reports I've ever seen. As a Professional Engineer myself, I marvel at what you have done in these reports.

We have already completed a few training sessions for our people on these reports. We have found that they contain so much data that it's hard to cover everything in our training sessions. Our people are so very well pleased. We have already found so many uses for them. I know we will continue to utilize them throughout the years to come with Building Code/Engineering approvals, building inspector approvals, and many other design areas.

I would highly recommend to anyone that they take advantage of what you offer in your TimberLogic Reports. I feel Honest Abe certainly got our money's worth, and will more than likely justify it in our first year of using them.

Thanks again. You were a pleasure to work with, and the rest of our management team wishes to express the same feelings.

The TimberLogic reports have helped us in several situations where code officials have questioned the integrity of our log systems. We have also found the reports to be an excellent selling feature for prospects concerned with wind loads and other structural requirements in the area where they are building their new home.

The amount of information packed into the report for each log system is very informative and complete. The information provided also gives us guidelines to follow when we do a special estimate for a home in an area with special loads such as wind and seismic.

Expanding Design Possibilities

posted Oct 14, 2009, 11:51 PM by TimberLogic LLC   [ updated Dec 15, 2012, 9:25 AM ]

The TimberLogic data helped our drafting and design staff answer questions for building inspectors and provide technical data to architects in a format that they can understand. We have increased our abilities to serve our customers and will be able to confidently design to exceed our customer's wishes. Involving our staff in the TimberLogic process that you have developed has given us a third dimension perspective of our log wall systems. After 25 years of designing, supplying and constructing quality pre– designed log wall systems, TimberLogic presented technical data based on sound engineering principles in a format that has helped us understand and further expand our design possibilities and limitations.

I recommend that any structural log wall design system include the TimberLogic reports for documentation and support of that system. Appalachian Log Structures continues to benefit from association with Rob Pickett and the Timber Technology Network (now TimberLogic). It's always a pleasure working with knowledgeable people that have wide spectrum of experience and are driven by a passion to build a better log home. Thanks for a job well done.

Third-Party Analysis Helps

I wanted to thank you for your hard work of implementing the TimberLogic system here at Coventry Log Homes. The process has gone smoothly and you helped our design department to step up our abilities to serve our customers to a greater capacity. With the increasing need for engineering calculations for permits and questions by local code officials, there is a great need for this type of third party analysis.

I know your information will benefit other companies and our industry as a whole. Please feel free to use me as a reference to your future clients.
